    Craftsman 30 in. Bow Saw is a great deal January 29, 2011

    You cant beat the price for this at $9.99. I did get mine for $4.99, but that was a special "tool of the day" deal online. I didnt need one, but its good to have around, and why pass it up at that price. The quality is nice and I can tell it will last a long time if treated properly.

    Hardware sales person said they don't sell any saws. September 09, 2009

    I went to the store today and a sales guy in hardware said sorry we don't carry any "tree limb" saws, how 'bout a riding lawnmover? He didn't even check anywhere and the store was very quiet. I would have bought this cheap thing but the customer service is just fake smiles & good mornings. I went to ************** instead and got a 21" one for 8 bucks.

    I remember when Sears used to carry everything, but it has become so limited now, even on the service.

    Thanks anyway!

    Very sturdy construction, with a good blade flows well when cutting on limbs. Worked wonders on cleaning up the debris in the yard.

    I clear brush and cut firewood. I have used bow saws from just about every hardware retailer and Sears bow saws are the only ones that do not stick in the wood while sawing. They are also reasonably priced.

    I purchased the Craftsman 30 inch bow saw as the Deal of the Day.  It was a great buy and a great price.  This has been put to use cutting up to 18 inch branches off a Pine tree where it was tough to get the chain saws.  This saw just ate through the branch like butter.  I was actually surprised at the ease of using this bow saw.  I would highly recommend this around the house if you have some yard work that requires trimming tree branches.
