Exactly what I wanted in a snow shovel. February 04, 2011
I purchased this last year and was skeptical at first by the clear plastic scoop. The price was high compared to other shovels next to it, but it had features others didn't. This shovel was well worth the money. This winter with the northeast getting dumped by snow, was perfect. The snow would stick sometimes but I spray a little PAM on the scoop and I had no problems.The grip is a nice thick rubberized one so it's very easy to hold and feels comfortable. I know others complained about the ergonomics, but it still the best snow shovel with a strait handle that I've ever seen or used. I've moved maybe a ton or more of snow with this and I expect it to last through tons more. It's so good my neighbors borrowed it when their old shovel broke and ended up buying this one for themselves!

Poor excuse for a snow shovel. November 20, 2010
This was the only shovel available to replace the steel shovel with the fiber handle. The handle broke on my steel shovel after many years of good service. The first time I used this shovel was in heavy snow and it was flimsy and too light for heavy snow. Appeared to have been designed by someone that has never shoveled snow in their life. Reminds me why I quit shopping at Sears. The lifetime warranty is no good when you can't get the product replaced with anything but junk. Just like their Kenmore vacuum cleaner that they stopped making bags for. Force you to buy something else. I'll buy a quality show shovel somewhere else.

NONEGreat shovel..even though I only had to use it once. It is lightweight, very strong and ergonomic. I bought this shovel because I only want to buy something once and this shovel had all the attributes you would want. Add to that a lifetime guarantee and you got it all. I am very happy with this shovel and I think anyone would feel the same.

Only in stock at certain times.The shape holds a lot of snow and is very sturdy. I chipped a lot of ice with it until it finally cracked but was able to use it for much longer. Took it back to Sears and they happily gave me a new one. Can't beat that!

First, let me start by saying that this shovel is extremely light weight. When I bought this, I actually was just looking for a really cheap snow shovel at Sears, but this was the only one they had left, and I am so glad i bought it. It cuts through snow like nothing. It is made out of an extremely durable type of plastic and it has a metal tip on it that is great for cutting through ice! This shovel got us through the huge snowstorm last winter. The padded handle is really nice! I don't even have to wear gloves when using it. Overall, because of the light weight, durability and padded handle I highly recommend this shovel to anyone! Did I mention it has the forever guarantee?
