The line does an ok job of cutting thorough thick weeds but one line doesn't last through one trimming of my lawn. Also, be careful around vinyl siding, this line will tear it apart. I would stick with standard line that can be fed as you go.

Hassle Free Trimmer Line III May 02, 2007

I have used string trimmers both Electric and Gas and just when your ready to start wacking down those weeds your out of line. With the Hassel Free Trimmer system just stick an extra piece in your pocket and you are good to go. The Black line works the best and will do your entire yard without ever having to bump it or pull more out. I trim around a chain link fence about 150 feet long and the Black Line does the entire fence and then finishes my 1.5 acre yard. The Sears salesperson talked me into it and I am really glad he did.
