CONVENIENCE In capital letters

I walked out of ******** auto, on other side of mall. Went to Sears, was helped immediately and professionally. I am a Sears Auto customer for all three of my vehicles for anything that they can do there from here on. Go Sears!

Transmission Fluid Exchange Not Performed

I replaced my two vehicles' tires at sears a few years back.  TBH, I did't have good experience and wished things had changed.  Learning from a friend that they also perform some auto services, I went and checked out the oil change and transmision fluid exchange services that should be simple to do.  That's a mistake.  After getting a call from Sears that my car service was completed (one and 1/2 hour later), I picked up my car and found out transmission was not done.  The serviceman told me that they ran out transmission fluid after I asked why the charge amount is not correct..  Why didn't they tell me at the first place until I asked?  I asked when the stock would be refilled, he was not even sure at all from his face but replied might be a week.  How can a car service station without a transmission fluid for a week?

My impression is they only perform tire and battery services.  Anything else will be too complicate for them to do.  I just do not feel they want to service and keep their customers.  The line for service is slow.  It's a pity they have such a great location in Cupertino and service area but can not attract new and maintain old customers.  My impression about Sears is simply out dated department store in the past..

Sears simply loses all my future car business.

Very bad service, unprofessional

I told I my need in the future a differential Fluid exchange and the charge would be $44.99 per differential. I have 4 wheel drive so I was told my price would be $89.99. The customer service person called me twice to explain the charges for differential service($89.99) and fuel system cleaning($84.99) which came a total of $174.97 plus tax, and I told him to complete the two repairs listed.When I came to pickup my truck,I told my bill would be $353.99. I asked why was the charge different from what I told by the customer service person who take my service order. I was told we charged you $166.00 for high-quality synthetic oil for your differential at $33.50 per quart. I ask why wasn't I told this before the work was done. My answer was, we do not know, the person who take your order has gone home and we must get $353.99 if you want your truck. My family and I has been buying from sears and Roebucks sence the 1940's and we have never had this type of bad, poor,unprofessional service
