This Goodyear Weatherhandler Fuel Max 225/65R17 tire is made to save you money. The tire's special tread compound. It reduces rolling resistance, giving you a more efficient ride and helping you save on gas. Goodyear says you can save up to 2,600 miles worth of gas over the life of a set of these fuel-conscious tires. This tire is made to last, with a very high treadwear rating of 620 and a treadlife of 65,000 miles. The Goodyear 225/65R17 tire is speed rated 'T' (118 mph) and has an 'A' traction grade-it will grip the road in all seasons. The tire's treads are 8/32 inches, and the tire has a healthy load index of 102 (1874 pounds). The tire's cross-section is 225 millimeters, its sidewall height to cross-section ratio is 65 percent and its wheel diameter is 17 inches.

Replaced 09 Town & Country OEM Bridgestone tires with Goodyear Fuel Max Tires. Happened on these tires by chance. Was not interested in fuel max tire. Store gave me free upgrade because tire I selected was not in stock.
These tires are nice looking and appear to be well constructed. I cannot speak to any fuel savings, however this tire excels at water displacement. Hence, it resists hydroplaning better than the OEMs. Even after 6000 miles, I would go as far to say they better than any other I have experienced recently.
Road noise is about average. Handling and performance Slightly above average. Would recommend to others.

Bought my new tires Friday evening at Sears and plan on taking them back this Monday. Smother riding, handled well but very noisy. Even my noisy grand-kids were complaining about the loud roar.
Do not recommend except maybe for snow tires for your truck.

I bought four of these at Sears during the Thanksgiving sale. I thought I got a good deal but they are not the cheapest compare to others in the same range. They are loud like a chopper flying over your vehicle. I fee the steering wheel constantly vibrating when driving over 60 mph. I didn't hear any noise (or nearly as loud as these) with my original OEM from Honda or vibration. The whole fuel saving is a marketing gimmick. I do mostly highway driving/commute, but have yet to notice any improvement. In fact, according the reading from the dashboard, it suggests a drop in the mpg avg. I would never buy these again or recommend it to anyone.

Tires are quite and handling is superior to OEM tires
Recently purchased these tires and the ride and handling is great. You can feel the difference in the ride especially in rainy weather. They are so much quieter than the Firestone FP70's that came with the vechicle plus the original tires only lasted for approx. 34,000mi. Would definetly recommend these tires plus Sears had the best price for any comparable tire even Goodyear's own tire (bascially the same tire) which cost more.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
