Sunbeam Imperial Nights Heated Blanket KING SIZE December 17, 2010
Best-heated blanket made hands-down. My last Sears Sunbeam Electric Blanket lasted over 20 years and there's no real secret in making it last so long.
1. Place heated blanket on quality mattress cover
2. Place fitted sheet over heated blanket
3. Place non-fitted sheet and a regular blanket on top
4. Slide in between fitted and non-fitted sheet
5. Turn on and enjoy
To those who use it as a top blanket - good luck. It's made of 90% polyester material and is scratchy on the skin because of fire proofing requirements. If you get it dirty using it as a top blanket then read the printed/ironed on instructions located near the receptacle at the foot of the blanket. Hand Wash for 15 minutes in warm water only so that means no machine washing and definitely no dry-cleaning.

JUNK! October 19, 2009
I bought a new one after my last one only heated for a couple of months. The new one lasted a couple of weeks! The blanket worked great the first couple of times they were turned on and then gradually quit heating.I will not buy another Sunbeam blanket but it seems to be the only one that dept. stores carry in this area.

I bought this blanket a few years ago. Worst purchase ever. I returned this blanket every year for 5 years in a row. Yes, 5 new blankets in 5 years, every one of them quit working or only partially worked. Now the limited warranty is up and I need a new blanket. I will never purchase another Sunbeam product.

Quick to set up,Great value,Very softIt is very soft and heats up very quickly. The controls are user friendly and has an automatic shut off timer after 12 hours. It is essential for the cold nights and even days. Its like having a small fireplace in your room. It easily rolls up and can be stored in a closet or under the bed. it's perfect for dorms and rv's. The twin size comes with two remotes which is convenient for two people.
