Exceptional.
It's FAR SUPERIOR to my older Sunbeam electric blanket in warmth, comfort, thickness and softness. I have had this a month so far and am very pleased with the quality and operation.
There are dual controls (illuminated) to regulate the warmth for each "side". Auto shutoff timer after 10 hours of continuous operation. As stated prior, worth every penny thus far this winter.
I suggest reading the included documentation in it's entirety for some "pro tips" concerning maximizing operation. I got lucky and found this on sears.com (online) and after taxes paid a total $37 (free store pickup) for a Queen size.

Was a great electric blanket. This blanket is warm, even without turning it on. The heat was just right. Low was a nice low heat, high was very warm - too warm for me to use. The only problem is that after only 1 year of use, it completely quit. The control still lights, but there is no heat. :(
