AllStar Catalyst Youth Football Shoulder Pad The Catalyst Youth Shoulder Pads are the most protective pads we offer. They are engineered for performance and protection. Contained within the low profile design lies a slew of technical features to protect the player and keep him cool and dry. For example, all the padding is removable and machine washable. The cantilever straps and steel arch springs not only isolate a direct impact to the shoulders, but they spread the force over a larger area by redirecting the energy to the chest and back. Similarly, the solid back construction distributes impacts from one shoulder throughout the entire back and onto the other shoulder. Superior protection does not have to be bulky or sacrifice a player's mobility.
