The Kenmore 33968 65-gallon natural gas water heater has a bigger burner to heat water faster. This water heater's foam insulation saves energy, and the Cobalt Blue Ultra Coat™ glass-lined tank has a large anode rod to protect the tank from corrosion. It also includes the self-cleaning RotoSwirl cold-water inlet tube, which reduces and protects against mineral buildup in the tank.
A 65-gallon natural gas water heater is the minimum recommended size for a 5 or more person household with typical water use.

Got a good deal on this...$638 with free delivery, replaced Maytag 50-gal high-recovery unit. Fired right up after install, no issues. Had hot water in less than an hour. Only issue (minor) was the top of the heater was not perfectly straight, had some weird bends and the exhaust outlet was bent so 2 feet of the draft hood didn't reach the holes, but the screw holes lined up ok. Again minor fit/finish issue that won't effect the function, just make sure you screw it down well with the two legs that have screwholes (screws not provided, need a couple of sheetmetal screws).

Purchased the unit, installation, and take away of old unit online. Yet when it was being installed I was informed I needed to purchase an expantion tank for additional $$. It would have been nice to have it all taken care of during the ordering so it wouldn't feel so sleezy
