You had to feed string every two minutes. It only cut about a 2 inch area. Two small to do much of any trimming. Sent it back.

Too small to cut anything, full charged battery last only 25 minutes cutting, take about 12 hours to charge battery.

it stopped working and i had to order from Toro the new battery which costs another $60 (which is not returnable) but i am back to square one. the money for the battery gone - and the trimmer not working too ... lawn looks dirty as i cannot trim it... and i dont know what to do....

Bought this as a gift for a friend as she was tired of having to mess with wires while edging. This things packs a good little punch in power. Charges easily and easy to change line. One thing I wish it had was a non-built in battery. It is actually built in so if it dies not sure you can replace it. Great performance and price ratio. Good buy.

The Toro 12V Cordless Trimmer is made very cheap....The plastic guard broke off within 15 min. of use. ...It also was so short that I had to really bend forward to use it...Not a comfortable position to be in....Hurt my lower back...Returned it to the store after attempting it's first use.

This is a low priced but powerful trimmer that performs very well and trims cleanly. Charge lasts for about 30 minutes of continuous use. The only improvement needed is a multi-position head.

I used the Toro 12V cordless trimmer a few times now and it's great. I don't have to pull along an extension cord it's light weight and I can go everywhere in my yard. I was able to trim my whole yard without having to recharge the battery (about 40 minutes).

The Toro corless trimmer is great. The down side is it won't cut thicker weeds.

I am a small female who just moved to the first place where I've had to take care of my own yard. I had never even mowed a lawn before, and certainly never whacked any weeds. My dad is in a constant battle getting his gas-powered whacker to start, and so I decided to go with a push-button mower. I also liked the price ($25 at the time). I was not dissapointed.

This little beauty is perfect for my small yard. It takes a while to charge the first time, so I'd plug it in the day before you want to actually use it. After that the charge is pretty quick though (a few hours). It isn't the most powerful whacker out there, but I didn't expect it to be. It starts right up, just push the trigger and go!

Another reviews mention the cheap skirt, and I have to say that at first I thought this was the case. However after a couple of uses I noticed that it was entirely my error making it so. The skirt has to be slid in to place in 4 spots, not 2 as it seems, and then it holds itself in very well. Also, the line trimmer that is included on the skirt has a red plastic covering over it that needs to be removed (not mentioned in the instructions). At first I thought it was red for saftey reasons, but after realizing it could be taken off and subsequently removing it, it cut my line the way it was supposed to and I had no more issues. While this is a small-radius trimmer, it is ideal for tiny people like myself. The product is light, easy-to-use, and starts up every time with no problems. This is not an ideal product for long weeds and big yards, but for my little yard it works like a dream.
