Casual to Formal Styled Skirts From Sears

Longer skirts tend to read quite casual or quite formal depending on their style and fabric; they rarely make an appearance in the boardroom. Tiered designs like prairie skirts and broomstick skirts have a floaty bohemian appeal that makes them ideal for casual outings. More tailored shapes or formal pleats in dressier taffeta or chiffon work best for evening wear. Formal skirts have double the utility of a formal dress as they change their nature just from switching out a few accessories and a top. A light chiffon maxi-skirt has quite a different feel with a short-sleeved plain black tee than it does with a delicate floral-print blouse.
