Make working in the garage more comfortable and efficient with Sears creepers. Roll about lying down or in a sitting position. This saves time and effort from bending, squatting and kneeling during maintenance and repair. It also eliminates lying on a dirty, grease-stained floor. Use a Sears creeper when a car is securely positioned on ramps to access the vehicle's undercarriage or low exterior areas. Some vehicles sit just high enough to fit a person underneath without using ramps. There are two main types of creepers. One type is long and flat like a stretcher close to the ground; the other is a seat. Both types are on sturdy wheels.

Creepers in seat form feature a bench or a chair with a back. These are sometimes called a mechanics seat. Working in the garage is easier when the most important items are less than an arm's length away. Use a mechanics seat with a handy tool shelf below to store parts and tools while working on a vehicle. When removing a tire, for example, drop the lug nuts into the tray below the mechanics seat for safekeeping. The lug nuts won't roll away and will be easy to reach when it's time to put them back on the wheel. Temporarily store crescent wrenches, socket wrenches and air tools in the tray for quick and convenient access while moving to different areas of the vehicle.


Craftsman creepers have adjustable features. Raise and lower creeper seats for easy access to low points on a vehicle, like fenders and wheels, or higher areas, like windows and doors. For models where access under the vehicle is needed, Craftsman creepers come in flat metal frames. Raise and lower the back on some models for comfort and better access to vehicles with a higher undercarriage.


When getting underneath a vehicle is half the challenge of making the repair, use a flat creeper. Creepers eliminate inching and rolling under a vehicle while trying to fix the car or do routine maintenance. Lisle creepers come in plastic and metal models with sturdy wheels to make maneuvering easy. More comfortable than lying on concrete, Lisle creepers offer a flat surface low to the ground.


Creepers are easy to clean and feature stain-resistant materials. Just wipe them down at the end of the day, and use a grease-cutting cleaner for spills if needed.
