    This lawn mower is a beast, it gets through most tough/tall grass without a hickup, so it's powerful. The easy one pull start is nice too. Nice all around mower until you have to maintain it.

    The height adjusters are poorly designed. They worked well the first year. But now they always get stuck and changing the height has become quiet a chore requiring pliers and hammers.. This needs to be simpler...

    IT has NO oil drain plug!!! WHAT?! Craftsman... what were you thinking?! A $400 mower and I have to flip this thing over the pour oil out?! Are you guys *******/p>

    Plus.... very dissapointed with craftsman NOT making a users manual available online.. what's up with that?! I had to find out how to change oil on this thing through 3rd party websites, NOT GOOD, that's terrible! EVERY OTHER COMPANY HAS USER MANUALS OF THEIR PRODUCTS ONLINE!!! THIS IS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!

    I use to be a fan of craftsman products, but the lack of online support for their gear is just a huge disappointment. It's like they don't want to you to maintain your gear ON PURPOSE! WHY IS THIS INFO NOT READILY AVAILABLE ON THE CRAFTSMAN SITE????????????

    I was very happy with this mower for a couple of months.  There were a few negatives I noticed, but not fatal flaws.  For instance, the side discharge cap is poorly designed and loose so lots of clippings escape there.  I actually used foam tape and duct tape to seal it.  The clipping bag was a bit on the small side and is a little awkward to lock into place. 

    On the positive side, it starts very easily, it is among the lightest self-propelled mowers available, the large rear wheels help smooth out the deck and make it manueverable.  My 14-year old 100 pound weekling daughter can start it and handle it.  The 22" deck cuts quicker than smaller mowers (noticeable when moving from a 20" deck that I had before).

    But the unforgiveable issue is the flimsy rear wheel assembly.  The bracket that holds the rear wheels is poorly secured to the deck.  Only 2 bolts on each side hold it to the deck, and they constantly come loose.  Now I have lost one the bolts, so I am down to 3.  

    I am headed to Sears tomorrow to return it.  My last mower easily lasted 20 years, but this one has not made it 1 season.

    i cut my lawn yesterday while wet and it looks just as good if it were dry its fast and just an unbelievable piece of machinery im always recamending it to everyone cant stop talking about it

    Very good mower for the money. Sharp looking design. User friendly. Easy operation. Quiet running and easy to start. Plenty of power. I have been mowing for approx. 40 years and find only one flaw in design with this mower-grass somehow blows onto the deck during operation, not exactly sure where it is coming from. I rate this mower four out of five stars.
