searsStyle: What can shoppers expect from the new Now + Here shop? How is it different from other brands and departments?

Jen H: The Now + Here shop is going to surprise our members! The shop is going to have the latest trends and the newest fashion that one would expect to see in really trendy boutiques. The shop is different than most Sears departments because it is not limited to one brand—it is all about the fashion and getting the hottest looks into our stores just as fast as the boutiques do. Now + Here will always be the place to get the most current key looks.

sS: Who is the Now + Here shopper?

JH: The Now + Here shopper is a trendsetter in the misses contemporary market. She wants to own the newest trends as soon as they hit the market.  She is a risk-taker and is confident in her fashion sense.

sS: What are some of the standout trends in Now + Here for spring?

JH: We are absolutely loving the spring collection in Now + Here! The strongest trend in the shop is the bohemian and festival vibe. Our members will find all the key looks in this trend, including open cardigans, boho tops, floral prints, soft printed pants, graphic tees and maxi skirts. Each item in the shop works back to all the other items, so creating outfits is very easy!

sS: What three styles have you most excited, and why?

JH: Our first love when building the brand was the one-piece outfits because they are real showstoppers! The denim overalls are the perfect solution to an updated casual look, and the jumpsuits are sexy and playful. Secondly, we absolutely love the open cardigans: We have solids with lace back details, as well as beautiful printed open kimonos. They are perfect outfit completers! Lastly, we love the t-shirt and maxi skirt pairing. It’s so easy and comfortable, yet looks so cool and fashionable!

sS: How would you describe your style? What Now + Here pieces will you be adding to your wardrobe this spring?

JH: My style is a mix of classic pieces with new trends.  I love outfits that are versatile and can work in various settings.

I love all the Now + Here styles!  I will definitely be wearing the denim overalls and striped knit tee with my wedge sandals. And I’ve been eyeing the black halter jumpsuit for my next girls’ night out! My easy go-to look for the season will be the soft pants. I’ll wear the printed joggers with a basic high-low tee and the wide-leg palazzos with a crochet detailed top for the ultimate festival look!

sS: We know that getting “the look” has a lot to do with styling. What are some of your top styling tips for spring?

JH: Specifically for this spring, the bohemian trend is very print-driven, so layering with solids is going to be important. Neutrals and chambray can help to soften the looks and break up all the print and color of spring. A lot of the looks this season are very flowy and loose, so it helps to mix in some fitted styles or belted looks to show your shape. I think the most important thing is always dressing for your body and being confident in what you are wearing!

sS: Can you give us any scoop on styles and trends we’ll see post-spring?

JH: The fall transitional timeframe will still feel a bit bohemian, but we’ll start to infuse some fresh prints and patterns—like plaids and dark florals—as we move into fall.  We absolutely love the prints mixed together! The skater skirt is a must-have for early fall, and we’re pairing it with feminine, girly sweatshirts with lace details. For more fall looks, you’ll just have to head into the shop and see!
