Suncast  Mini Storage Shed (7 1/2 Ft. x 3 Ft.)

The size turned out to be perfect for my application. I was also impressed with how easy it was to assemble. Only a few times did I need help from another person to assemble the shed. So far, so good.

Fits my lawn mower nicely and other garden tools with room for other storage items. Easy instructions, good quality plastic, handsome looking storage unit.

This shed worked out perfectly for us. My husband put it up within a morning by himself. Easy to install and it fits all of our kids outdoor toys.

The Suncast storage shed was very easy to lay out and assemble. All parts fit together nicely and nothing was forced. The outer panels are made of single wall and tend to bow when something leans on them. For the cost and ease of installation, the shed was well worth the purchase.

I just completed the assembly of this small storage bldg. I poured the 4 inch slab two weeks ago right after ordering. Assembly took 3 hours with a helper. I was very impressed with the design's small details. For example, the air vent above the door is a real, working vent. It's not just decorative. They even included a ridge vent along the peak of the roof. There's a molded door stop that keeps the door from swinging too far open and hitting the corner. A lot of thought went into this design. Negatives - they should have included metal, threaded inserts in the screw pockets. That plastic just doesn't have any holding power for screws. The instructions do warn repeatedly not to over tighten. I heeded the warning and didn't strip any screws. Some of my wall panels were slightly warped. It was difficult getting them installed, but a little extra time solved the problem. Overall, I'm pleased. For an inexpensive plastic bldg. it exceeded my expectations. Recommendations - heed the instructions and pour the slab. It took 11 bags of Maximizer and a mixer rental from **********. A level slab keeps the bldg from warping and twisting. You can secure it from high winds with 3/8 - 3 inch concrete wedge anchors (I bought Red Head wedge anchors). Buy the optional shelf. It provides a lot of structural support to the back two corners. Look at the shelf picture and you'll see what I mean about strengthening the 2 rear corners. (there are 2 L shaped shelves in the optional shelf kit.) If possible, install bldg in a shaded area. The plastic colors are less likely to fade over time.

The shed was easy to pick up at the Sears store. It was a good price, saving about $100 over the nearest competitor. Assemble was tricky but manageable with the only difficulty being the roof. We got the assembly directions on line. They were not included.

Purchased this shed about 4 years ago. The color started fading year #2, so I started using plasitc protector on it(The same stuff that you use for cars) Now, year 5, looks awful, so I pressure washed it and repainted the doors. Discovered that the plastic is starting to disintegrate. I live in PA, so it is not like it is exposed to high temps all year long. Will never purchase another Suncast product again.

When putting the floor together the parts did not match very well. This resulted in a gap in the middle. I was surprised to see the rest of the shed actually matched up pretty well. Overall I was very satisfied.

I saw this on display at the Sears store and knew it was exactly what I needed. I simply don't have room for a square shed. The assembly was a snap (pardon the pun). Apparently there was an issue about how the corners were assembled wrong some time ago, and I did not have this problem. Someone got it figured out and included an extra sheet to the assembly instructions. As for the instructions, they could have done better with the pictures. They would do good to look at Ikea's instructions which require no words. Still, I had this together, BY MYSELF, in just a couple hours. The hardest part of this whole project was the prep work. You either need to grade a level spot or build a base to put it on. I built a base from treated lumber which the recommend dimensions are in the manual. I would have made the base smaller than what they said, but it works. One problem I had was NOBODY could tell me how big the box is that this comes in. I ordered online and picked it up at the store and had to wait until I was actually picking it up to know what I was getting into. Borrowing my sister's Blazer, I went and took a chance. It mostly jammed in there but barely. We had to leave the tail door open and tie it down. So you can take a chance with your big SUV or best yet, take a pickup... IF you have one available, which I do not. The dimensions of the box is 30"x35"x73". Sort of like a refrigerator box. For what this offers, I would do it again. I would like to have the price cheaper but there is a lot of complicated molding work in this so all you have to do is match the ends and snap it together. I just couldn't bring myself to spend over $1000 for a wooden shed when this one serves my purpose and looks decent too. Someone mentioned in one of the other reviews that once it's together, it would be impossible to take apart. From what I see, I don't believe it would be all that difficult. Hopefully, I never have to find out.
