    Great shed for the money July 07, 2010

    I am a single female and I put this together by myself with absolutely no help whatsoever from anyone else. That is how easy it was. I was missing a few of the parts in my box but after contacting Sears they made it easy to replace and send the missing parts with no hassle.  Well worth the money.  The shed is perfect if you do not have too much to store and don't want to occupy too much space.  i would highly recommend this product.

    So far so good; confusing instructions; top was warped. August 11, 2009

    I bought the Suncast Vertical Storage Shed online and picked it up at the store.  It looked like the box had been opened and resealed, but I assume that was for inspection.  I think I was wrong.  It went together pretty easily, except the top was slightly warped and the doors scrape against it whenever we close them.

    Other problems putting it together: the order of snapping in the door handles is a little confused, so I snapped the first one into the wrong door.  It was my hardest workout of the week prying it out (worse than mowing 3/4 acre or chainsawing an old log).  I guess that suggests that at least the door handles won't fall apart.  Also, the middle hinges holding the doors did not go in easily.  That could be a design problem or something caused by the previous buyer.

    Other than that, it went up pretty quickly and easily.

    Others have complained about difficulty putting in a shelf, so we put inside a small cabinet we had lying around.  We can use it to store small stuff and have room on one side for a rake, shovel, etc.

    I was worried about having a cheap plastic thing on my patio, but it blends in pretty nicely, and the shape is appealing to the eye. We won't have to worry about it blowing apart in the wind, as others have reported, since it is in a protected corner.

    My only real gripe is the warped roof and awful scraping the doors make.  We didn't take it back because it barely fit in my car in the box, and some parts won't come apart now; I'd have to rent a truck to get it back to the store.

    Item is a good value for the sale price I paid. The door handle and door hooks for mounting where missing, but a call to Suncast rectified that. They sent right out the missing parts. It's a little extra storage for me......Nick, PA.

    Sides of cabinet was so warped that they would not fit together. I recommend that you open box at store to check for damange. This is the third cabinet that I have purchased from sears this year that had damage.

    The Suncast Vertical Patio Storage Shed was better than expected. Relatively lightweight but able to withstand some of the high desert winds we experience. It is compact yet holds all our backyard tools and pool supplies (except the lawnmower!). Easy assembly and blends into the backyard, not a "shed" looking eyesore. I do wish that it had included a plastic shelf, but it did come with a pattern to construct your own. I'm very happy with my purchase!
