This 2600 watt cooktop features SmartScan technology, which automatically recognizes voltage, pan size and type. The SR-1262B-1 has a simple knob thermostat control which simplifies operation. The control is included separately from the unit for remote mounting. The 5mm thick cooktop is designed to withstand heavy, repeated use. Choose from two cooking modes: power and temperature. The temperature mode has a range of 90 to 440 degrees Fahrenheit and there are 20 levels in the power mode. This cooktop has ETL / CETL / NSF-4 sanitary certifications for commercial use. For easy cleaning, Sunpentown recommends using a cleaner that is rated for glass cooktops.
