Get your garden green fast with the power of irrigation sprinkler pumps

You could spend a fortune every year on fertilizer and lawn chemicals, or you could just keep your lawn watered and see what grows. Instead of dealing with the hassle of a sprinkler, why not install an irrigation sprinkler system instead? An irrigation system waters your lawn from several different places at once, saving you the time and effort of having to periodically move a single sprinkler yourself. Plus, once you have an irrigation system installed, you can set it and forget it; it can automatically turn on at the same time each day, so you don't have to worry about watering time interfering with your afternoon tea (or nap). All you need are some irrigation sprinkler pumps, a little plumbing, some pump accessories and some sprinkler heads to get the job done.

First, you'll have to hook up your sprinkler pump to your water supply. You can run a pump off of the water supply that feeds your home, or you can choose a pump that uses water from a nearby source, such as a stream or pond. Then, connect your plumbing. If you are using your sprinkler system for a nursery or hydroponics, then you will probably install your plumbing above ground, with a drip release or gravity-based sprinkler system. These systems gently feed water and nutrients to sensitive plants or small seedlings, and sometimes don't require as strong of a pump as systems that shoot water into the air. If you want to use your irrigation sprinklers for your lawn, then you will probably want to install your plumbing underground so that your weekend kickball game isn't interrupted by an obstacle course.

Garden irrigation systems can be installed above or below ground. If you have a lot of ground-covering plants, then you may be able to easily disguise an above ground system. You can also use rocks and other garden decorations to help hide your above ground plumbing. If you'd rather keep your open garden space free of clutter, then a below ground system will work for you. A gentle pump can feed water through a drip irrigation system that keeps the water underground, right at the root systems of your flowers and shrubs. Alternatively, an above-ground system can nourish your plants from top to bottom. They type of system you choose will depend on your preferences, space and the needs of the plants in your garden.

Come to Sears for all of your irrigation sprinkler system parts. It may be a complex system, but shopping for the bits and pieces shouldn't be any trouble. Plan out your design, then decide what you need to make it all work. From pumps to plumbing, we have everything you need to get your garden perfectly nourished and blooming beautifully. And if you need seeds and plants; we have that too!
