    The Toro Leaf Collector makes the big job much easier. December 06, 2011

    This product worked well after I added a plastic tie to the hose so it would not come off the can cover. Much easier to compress the leaves into a can than continously remove and empty the bag from the blower. Rake the leaves into a big pile and vacuum away.

    Does not work with my Craftsman blower/vac December 21, 2010

    Purchased this with my new craftsman blower/vac hoping it would speed up the vacuum process. However, the universal adapter on this item creates a jam point. The leaves would keep clogging up the hose at the point where it attached to the vac. It may work better if you have a Toro vac, but because I had to use the universal adapter, it didn't work very well for me with leaves.

    I previously had a toro leaf collector but after 8 years of heavy use it was time to replace it. We purchased this one again and it works just as well as the first one. To help keep the can cover on simply use it with a can with a lip around the edge - one that allows the lip to snap on - I use a rubbermaid can. I tied a 5ft piece of elastic to the handle of the can. Once the cover is on the can, I wrap the elastic around the can cover and secure the other end to the handle of the can. It keeps the can cover very snug.

    I HAVE LOOKED EVERYWHERE FOR AN ACCESSORY TO VAC LEAVES STRAIGHT INTO THE TRASH CAN OR TRASH BAG.I HAD NO LUCK UNTIL I FOUND THE TORO LEAF COLLECTOR.SO FAR I HAVE ONLY USED IT FOR A VERY SHORT TIME MAYBE 30 MIN.JUST LONG ENOUGH TO KNOW IT WILL DO JUST WHAT I NEED IT FOR.OTHER STORES ADVERTISED IT BUT DID NOT HAVE IT IN THEIR STORE AND HAD NO IDEA WHEN OR IF THEY WOULD GET IT IN.SEARS WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH MY FINDING IT AND I AM ANXIOUS FOR IT TO GET WARM ENOUGH AND DRY ENOUGH TO REALLY GET TO USE IT.

    Cons:
    Hose comes off can cover too easily

    Can cover often slips off can,Hose comes off can cover too easily,Hose could be longer,Lightweight cans pull over easily,worthless

    This hose adapter didn't fit securely onto the Worx Leaf blower/vac. Did not provide tight suction. Flimsey velcro strap broke on first attempt to use and didn't tighten.
