Awesome holding ability in tight places
Vice Grip is one of those named tools that give you excellent value and efficiency in how the tool performs. I have found anything with their name is a tool worth owning. The Long Nosed Locking Pliers are just another example. Many times something you need to grab is someplace a traditional tool head will not access. Linemans pliers or channel locks or everyday pliers have a head too large and squared to reach your need. This is why the needle nose were invented. All too often with traditional needle nosed pliers you might be able to grasp what you are going after but then fail to be able to clamp it tight enough for removal. This is the dilemma solved by the Vice Grip Needle Nose because the pliers have the ability to lock in place when clamped so that your hand no longer needs to form your tightest fist to operate your tool. This seems sometimes like a third arm there to help. Vice grips are also adjustable for widths by turning a knurled ring to widen or close the gap between jaws. This means they are widely usable because they can grasp material as thin as copper or as wide as an inch or so in thickness and then clamp tight. Sooner or later you will have a need for this very tool and will be glad you have it in your collection.

The Vise Grip Pliers, Long Nose Locking hold tight
Great for grabbing those small things in tight places. I use this all the time to remove broken off screws and bolts. The original vise grips are the best.
