Battery cover doesn't shut tight
There is a warning in the package that tells you not to remove the batteries or let the batteries get low because you will lose any pictures that are on the camera. However, in our case we had new batteries but since the cover to the batteries didn't stay shut tight, I guess the batteries lost contact and even though we didn't open the camera or let the batteries get weak so we lost pictures anyway. The camera was purchased for my grandson to take on a school trip to Washington DC, so the pictures weren't replaceable. I bought 4 of these cameras because of the price for gifts for my other grandchildren as well, but after losing these important pictures the cameras will all be returned.

the vivitar 1.3 megapixel camera isnt really good
I recieved this camera for getting good grades and when i took it out the package the handle to close in the batteries broke and the picture was not clear at all. Im guessing that this is becoming a common problem. PLEASE DO NOT BUY!!!! HORRABLE

Vivitar Vivicam digital camera is junk
I bought this camera for my 8 yr. old son to take camping with us. Wanted to get something inexpensive for his 1st camera. He never got a chance to use it. Took it out of the package, opened the battery compartment, put batteries in, went to close the battery compartment and the tiny clip that holds the door closed broke. The camera fells cheaply made but after this tiny thing breaking right out of the package, I have my doubts about the whole camera. Do Not Buy!!!!!!! I guess you really get what you pay for!!!
