Our 42 inch padded weapons case has proven so popular that we have developed a deluxe version incorporating many of the features our customers requested, including:Lockable zippers (padlocks included).Integrated magazine pouches. A larger Velcro ID patch.Of course, we have retained many of your favorite features, including the popular 42-inch size -- which allows you to carry a variety of rifles, carbines and tactical shotguns -- as well as the capacity to carry two long guns and two pistols. Also standard are MOLLE-compatible webbing, so you to add additional pouches, our rugged ballistic fabric, and thick high-density foam padding on all six sides. This bag DOES NOT include backpack straps, but it does have an improved shoulder strap.As you can see in the photo, the case also hold six rifle magazines and eight pistol magazines. Each mag is protected by a padded pocket and a Velcro flap. All the exterior pockets feature padlocks, as does the main weapon compartment. This not oonly provides greater security for your weapons but should help you meet legal requirements regarding inter- or intra-state transit. (Laws vary, please check your local state laws or consult an attorney for specifics.) Interior dimensions are 41.5" x 11.5", so this case fits AR-15s, M4s, mini-14s and similar sized rifles and carbines. It will also hold a Remington 870 or similar shotgun with an 18" barrel. The tie down straps allow you to carry smaller weapons, but if you have a longer gun, we recommend our 46" padded weapons case or the sniper rifle drag bag.
