Vtech  Peek At Me Bunny

My daughter got this for Christmas last year. I felt she was to young for it and put it away for her until she was about 10 months old. She is now 18 months and has come to love "bunny" at bedtime and in the morning. She cuddles and hugs him. Well tonight it just stopped working. We changed the batteries and it still will not work. She cried for over and hour. I am very disappointed to read the reviews that this is pretty common with this toy.

We bought this when my daughter was about 5 months old. She never really took to the toy part of it, but it got us through some very rough months trying to put her to sleep. I loved loved loved the night time mode with the soft music. Unfortunately, even though we never really used it for play and certainly were not rough with it, it only lasted about 3 months. We changed the batteries, but nothing could get it to work again. It served it's purpose, those were very long sleepless nights.

I bought this toy for my daughter to sleep with. She only keeps it in her bed so it isn't played with roughly at all. After two months it stopped working. I changed the batteries in the very difficult compartment but it still wouldn't work. It is disappointing because my daughter cries for her bunny at bedtime. We are overseas so it is a challenge to replace it quickly. Having four children, I have always had great luck with Vtech's products in the past. I am surprised that this product isn't meeting their usually high performance standards. Although I will replace it for my daughter, I absolutely would not recommend this product to a friend.

I bought this toy for my son for christmas and right away he loved it. He goes right to sleep if it is playing the nighttime music and he plays with it all day long. However, it uses batteries really quick and we can't get the ears to work like they are supposed to. It is really difficult to change the batteries and clean. If the battery compartment came out changing the batteries would be a snap and we could just throw it in the washing machine to clean it instead of trying to wash it with diaper wipes or in the sink. My son is one and does get food and drink and on occasion feces on the toy and it takes forever to clean. But he loves it so all in all a great toy.

My sister bought this adorable bunny for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it! She is nine months old and plays with it every time she sees it. She can be screaming, crying, throwing tantrums and when this thing starts singing, she is so happy that she just stops all of the crying! She loves waking up to the "clap your hands" song. My favorite feature is the ears. If you cover the eyes with the ears, the magnets in the ears set off a sensor that makes kissing sounds at the baby. It's too adorable. We love it and hopefully, will not encounter any problems with it like the rest of you. =( I love Vtech. We have so many Vtech toys!
