Weedeater  3.6 Amp 11'' Electric Line Trimmer

This item is lightweight, easy to use, inexpensive and as long as you do not have a whole lot to whack it handles the weeds perfectly.

For the price, this is a good weedeater for small yards ! Solid and durable. Happy with purchase : )

WORKS WELL!

First lose the shield, that way i get more cut and i control that excessive string use. The shield is great the kids and mom. I live in the danger zone. With-out the shield you can trim bushes and smaller tree limbs. I run these little "EATERS" till they catch on fire....about 2 or 3 years. Wear protective glasses and stay away from little rocks and you will be fine.

This weed eater was a piece of crap & was nothing but trouble from day one! I only got to use it maybe 5 times, & each time I had to stop every few minutes to adjust the line or something. The last time I used it, the motor started smoking, so I took it back for a refund!

Needed a trimmer but being on a budget, I thought this would be a good, slightly cheaper deal. The line it comes with is JUNK, the screw FELL out of the thing while in use so the guard fell, the line whipped around and caught my leg. Horrid experience. but hey, you get what you pay for, right?

This little unit kicks butt and at around $20.00 it is all I need to maintain an average size house and yard. Its electric so you don't have to go through the hassle of starting a gas engine and keeping gas+oil mix available. You also don't have to worry about recharging or replacing batteries. It has a lot of whack for a small trimmer. Haven't had to replace line yet but the tap advance works nicely.

I like that this is not heavy and doesn't spew out smelly exhaust. It is very quiet compared to the gas models I always hear neighbors use. However, I hate the fact that I always have to stop ever 20 seconds to manually feed more line. I tried using this as an edger to give my lawn that professional straight edge cut that I see the hired cutters leave behind for my neighbors. Forget it. This unit WON'T do it easily. I have to position it in a very un-natural and awkward position to try to do the professional edge cut (where the grass meets the concrete walkway). I just gave up because the position is just too uncomfortable (having to crouch like a baseball catcher) PLUS the line constantly having to be re-fed because hitting that concrete quickly eats up line. Letting go of the trigger and then turning the unit upside down so I can manually feed new line every 20 seconds is a MAJOR ANNOYANCE and SIGNIFICANTLY SLOWS me down. Great for trimming where your line won't be hitting something hard (like concrete walkway or a wall or a neighbor's wooden fence). But once you encounter these hard surfaces, your line will get eaten QUICK (unless you try to be super careful and slowly advance the trimmer at a snail's pace to try to barely touch the hard surface, and that just wastes MORE of your time!).

I bought this trimmer and it is not worth the money the line constantly snaps on you I spent more time pulling the line out then trimming my yard. And I have a small yard to trim I tripled my time using this trimmer it is light weight and easy to assemble try a new line not the line that comes with it. that is what i am going to try. if that don`t work I will just trash it it is a cheap product I guess I got what i paid for.
