I bought this weight bench after the holidays and got a great deal because it was a floor model. It needed a new cable so I was able to test Weider's customer service which was superb and easy to use. The bench is great for recreational weight lifting. You can do bench press, shoulder pulls, arm curls, leg curls and I'm sure a lot more. It doesn't take up a lot of space and that's a big plus. There are more elaborate systems out there but this one does enough to keep you motivated.

I researched weight benches on many websites before purchasing this one. I couldn't find another bench with these features in the same price range (onsale for $120). Durability, stability and reverse-incline were the determining factors in my purchase. The product seems well constructed and durable. When I opened the box and saw the numerous parts and hardware, I assumed it would be a daunting task to assemble. However, even with the help of my three young children who each thought they should be involved with the assembly, I estimate it only took 90 minutes to complete. The instructions are very well written, and most of the hardware comes shrink-wrapped on a board that has labels for each piece of hardware. I would have given a higher rating if it weren't for one issue: This bench is advertised as having reverse-incline. However, the head of the board only declines a couple of inches below level, which is no where nearly the amount most gym weight benches relcine at. I don't feel it is worthy of being considered a reverse-incline. I almost decided to return the product because reverse-incline was an important feature to me. However, I will try to come up with a way to make it work for me. If you have a 5-ft press bar, you will have to upgrade to a 7-ft bar. With weights installed on a 5-ft bar, you cannot sit the bar down into the bar supports. This has forced me to buy a new weight set, but I really needed a new set anyway. Overall, I think this is a wise purchase for anyone looking for a well-built and sturdy bench (lacking a true reverse-incline).

I found this product to be a good value. It is a great bench for the price. It allows you to do a wide variety of exercises. It is also relatively easy to assemble. I recommend it for a beginner or someone on a budget.

I purchased this a few days ago and just picked it up from the warehouse today. After just one workout I can see how sturdy this bench is. The instructions were very clear and it took me about 2 hours to assemble (by myself).
