The Whetstone Frontiersman Throwing Axe is Trash
Do not purchase this item unless you are going to hang it on your wall and just look at it. I purchased one of these through Sears and used it on a Boy Scout outing. The nylon cord grip broke on the second throw and the Axe handle bent and cracked on the 10th or 12th throw. The cutouts on the handle are a nice decoration but make the Axe useless for actual throwing.
