I got this dryer on sale which was great. I'm always trying to save a few bucks as single mom, so I borrowed a truck and and a dolly, and picked up the dryer myself. My teenage sons followed the directions to hook up the cord (which by the way I think is stupid to charge separately) and the venting. It was rather quick and painless. It's a nice basic dryer I guess. I wasn't looking for too many bells and whistles in a dryer. The 7.0 cu ft capacity is perfect for Queen size comforters and blankets, which I dried a ton of the first weekend I got it. I keep it on the "Accudry" setting because it won't over dry the clothes and they are nice and cool when you take them out. It also keeps tumbling clothes to prevent wrinkles. So overall it's a nice product that does the job nicely.

I purchased this dryer and the first one tore up the first day and after waiting a week to receive an exchange and after two loads of clothes it did the EXACT same thing and tore up. DO NOT order this! The delivery driver mentioned he had picked up like seven of these within the last week.

I purchased this Whirlpool Electric Dryer one year ago. I can easily say that it is the best dryer I've ever owned. I especially like the non-wrinkle feature that gives your clothes an extra little spin every few minutes until you can take them out and fold them. I would recommend this dryer to anyone and it is reasonably priced.

Pros:
quiet,Quiet and have different temp settings!This dryer is AWESOME!!!! The controls are set up in an easy to read, easy to reach format. The setting selections cover so many different options! I LOVE the wrinkle shield option. There are times when I cannot get to the dryer and so love the few extra minutes so that my clothes are not just sitting in the dryer getting wrinkled. It's PREFECT for us multi-taskers!!! The dryer runs quiet which is perfect for me as I live in apartment and it's nice to have a dryer that is quiet. It runs so smoothly and quietly that I can use it anytime and not worry about bothering anyone. I do wish that the End of Cycle signal had a volume control, but that is an extra option that I could not afford. But the fact that I can turn it off is perfect. That way I can turn if off and on depending on the time of day. I love the ACCUDRY feature that prevents my clothes from being in the dryer too long. It seems to dry my clothes faster and I LOVE the energy option. Plus, my clothes do not seem "as hot" as my old dryer. I love the light inside the dyrer!!! It helps me to find those socks that seem to love to hide in the dryer!!! *laugh* Overall, the dryer is AWESOME!!!!! The delivery people were great! They took out my old dryer and set up my new dryer. They were so personable and so very nice!!! I was SO impressed. They were so helpful and gave me the impression that they actually enjoyed their job. So rare today!!! I would give them a triple A+ score.

Pros:
Nice basic dryer,efficientThis dryer works just fine. I use the energy efficient setting (a green leaf on the dial) on low heat and the clothes come out perfect every time. The warm setting is good for sheets and towels to speed things up a bit, but more likely to cause wrinkles in clothing. Some people like to bake their clothes on high... but you're asking for wrinkles by doing that in any dryer. I do not use the wrinkle gaurd feature, so I cannot comment on that. The noise lever I would say is average for a dryer.

Sears install was terrible,Its electricBought this dryer about ten days ago, does its job very well, have'nt had any clothes come out partially dry, and it seems to dry alot faster than our older dryer. We bought a new washing machine also, so with the new spin technology you dont end up drying your clothes as long. So far so good. The only complaint I have so far is that when they installed the dryer, I had to have them come back because of the half A#@ installation job. I new this was going to happen they seemed like they wanted to get in and get out, well guess what they had to come back, which they did, with me standing over them making sure the dryer exhaust was properley vented, and seeled. Make sure you all do the same, it can be very dangerous if not done right. For the money the dryer is well worth it for the money, also Whirlpool is a USA based company, so that means American jobs which is a plus plus. BUY AMERICAN, Put Americans back to work.
