Dryer nice, Sears install horrendous
I just got this dryer over the weekend and so far the dryer looks nice and while it ran, was quiet and did a good job. If you just want a simple dryer that has most features that you'd be looking for, this is a nice one.
The issue I am having is the Sears install guys did a HORRENDOUS job hooking this thing up. I paid extra to have this delivered on Saturday so I would not have to take off of work. They came in, hooked it up and within 5 minutes the dryer vent connection at the top came loose and just fell off. Luckily the guys were still here so they could fix the problem. Initially they just used some 'heavy duty' tape that 'never fails'. There were clamps and what not included, but he could not be bothered with that. Well after his 'can't fail' tape failed in under 5 minutes, he was forced to use the clamps. The clamps held for less than 24 hours, which I suppose is an improvement over 5 minutes.
The vent connection came loose WHILE I was doing laundry so there's a nice collection of lint all over the place.
I called Sears install and the lady was not understanding at all - I assume reading a script basically. Said they could get someone out in 2 days, but since it's middle of the week and Sears cannot possibly tell you the time until the day before after 6pm (real nice btw Sears*), I am going to try to fix this myself after going to ******.
So I paid extra for a Sat delivery, paid for Sears to install this with their parts - and the end result was a guy that just wanted to get in and out as quickly as possible. He had no interest in using the parts that actually had a chance at working, he just wanted to tape it up and get out of there.
I would strongly recommend you tell the delivery guys you want the clamp/bracket(s) used and not that stupid tape if you use Sears install!
*And what's with this delivery system that Sears uses? To set up the appointment, you pick a day. They will call the day before after 6pm to tell you what time they will be out (2 hour window). So I have to wait till the day before and not till after 6pm to see if I need to call off work just so you can fix your mistake? Give me a break.

Sensor drying is a bad concept because it relies on garments touching one area in the dryer. It dries a polo shirt, for instance, but not its collar that might be made out of a heavier material. For some reason sheets get tangled up even if put into the dryer carefully and do not completely dry; they also come out extremely wrinkled.
I had both a great Whirlpool washer and dryer previously for over 20 years but unfortunately had to leave them with the house I sold. The difference in quality between my old appliances and this new one is dramatic, especially regarding the timer knob which sometimes continues to run way after the end of cycle signal sounds.

Great Dryer
Just received the dryer a week ago and it's exceeding expectations. Clothes are dried much faster and with less wrinkles. A lot of space in the dryer too. Love the drop down door option as I'm less likely to drop freshly laundered clothing onto the floor - not to mention that it can also work as a folding area for smaller items if the top of the dryer is occupied. Easy to use, very happy with this purchase:)

Love it! Extra large capacity and gets them jeans dry in a hurry.
Love this dryer. It is easy, fast and has the intermittent tumble feature to keep your clothes from wrinkling while they cool after the cycle is completed. Quiet and efficient. Highly recommend!

jeans dont dry with AccuDry
The only trouble I am having is the AccuDry stops the heat before my jeans are dry. I have to dry them again a little bit longer. Other then that it's all good.
