Zeki is a decent tablet
I bought this tablet for my niece after the filemate identity she only had for 7 months stopped working. I did alot of researching on the Zeki and I decide to buy it because of the price and other reviews it had. It does not come with google play (the market), but the tablet is rooted so it can be installed. When it arrived I gave it a full charge, install the apps that came on it and I flashed google play to the tablet. After I rebooted, google play (the market) was intalled on the Zeki and it works fine. I am very pleased as well as my niece.

Kind of OK, until...
I bought one of these for the kids to play on and to use as an ereader when they weren't playing with it. It seemed ok for that, not great - laggy, low screen quality, etc, but I expected that. What the real issue is that with the tablet I got every time I do a full shut down it does a complete factory reset, deleting all my data.

So dissappointed!
I bought 2 of these for my kids for Christmas. The ****** app store worked for one download each. After that it won't open up. The other app store on it will not open at all. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app store and was able to do one more download. The kids are crushed. Santa blew it bad. We returning them and ponying up the money for Nook tablets. At least then I'll know they'll have something that works. :-(

For the extra money, get the Kindle Fire
I received this gift from my mother for christmas and after 1 day of use, it had stopped working. I had it fully recharged and tried everything for it to start to no use. I had to return to store and after dealing with very friendly employees, I purchased the Kindle Fire which I am much happy with.

I don't know too much about the tablet but what I have managed to learn has been good. I have been able to connect to my email, facebook and of course to the games, I have tried the camera and I like it.

I spent 2 days trying to decide if i wanted to buy the Zeki TB782B 7" tablet. After reading all the positive reviews and watching a video on youtube i was sold!!! But oh my how quickly my expectations dropped. I'll just go ahead and say it....if you want to browse the internet this tablet is fine for that. I did have trouble with it dropping the wifi connection frequently though. If you want to use apps....forget it!! It sucks, and you will pull your hair out trying to get them. I had no luck with getjar because of socio. First Experience With a Tablet -- So Far So Good
Though I have extensive experience with windows and linux desktops/laptops, this is my first foray into the tablet arena. So far it's been favorable. Everything seems to work as it should. The availability of aps from ****** seems more than sufficient for my needs (including terminals and SSH for connecting to linux servers at work). My only reason for knocking it down a star is because the manual, which is included electronically in the tablet, did not have the breadth or details to suit my needs.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
