Choose the plates that fits the length of your window. You may not need three plates depending on your needs. 2. Pass the long locator screw through the plate with the hole. And align the screw with the slot in the center of the other plate. 3. Secure the locator screws with the washers and nuts. But don't over-tighten them, because you need to slide the plate freely to the correct length. 4. Place the plate kit into the slot of your window.
