- FILTERS 50 GALLONS PER DAY: APEX designed this system to use dual carbon block filtering cartridges to remove unpleasant tastes and harmful impurities that are found in much of the water currently consumed by many families today. This super efficient water filter system purifies up to 50 gallons per day and holds it in the storage tank ready for use anytime you want fresh clean water.
- ADVANCED 5-STAGE PROCESS: During our advanced, 5-stage filtration process, tiny particles are removed first. Water then goes through two carbon block filters and is forced through a water filter membrane to remove mercury, lead, salt, radon, benzene, and fluoride. The purified water goes through a post-filter made of granulated charcoal to remove any unpleasant smells, tastes, or gasses. Storage tanks and a brushed nickel faucet are included.
- EASY INSTALLATION: The APEX 5050 water filtration system arrives pre-assembled for easy do-it-yourself installation. However, APEX does recommend having a licensed plumber install the reverse osmosis system to ensure all local plumbing codes are followed since they vary according to where you live. Filter cartridges need to be replaced occasionally. Extras can be ordered from APEX.
