Medicine Ball Chop - Sears

This exercise with a medicine ball works your entire body but is especially beneficial for your core. Keep your back straight during this movement, and avoid swinging the ball. For maximum effect, use the heaviest ball you can control.
- Hold a medicine ball straight in front of you.
- Keeping your back straight, move the ball toward one knee. Bend your legs and pivot your body as required. Move the ball diagonally across your body until it is above and beyond your opposite shoulder.
- Move the ball back and forth in this fashion without pausing.
- Repeat on the opposite side.
