Outdoors I bought an item online thru sears.com didnt know it was a 3rd party vendor order my order never got past processing called numerous times spent hours on the phone finally learned that sears couldnt locate who the the third party vendor was and it seemed very unlikely that they will be able to complete this order so i then decided to cancel the order since it was suppose to be delivered on Dec 21 and that day came and went well it has now been 4 days since i cancelled my order and and sears has been unable to complete my request to cancel i called numerous times and they keep saying they need more time to verify the cancellation and wont give me anytime frame as to when i will be credited back the charge they cant complete the cancellation until they verify with the 3rd party vendor ok so quick review sears took my order sent it ot processing it never got out of processing found out they didnt know who the vendor was and couldnt get the order to processing since they had no idea who was going to send the oder and now they cant cancel the order until they verify the order thru the 3rd party vendot that they have no idea who it is ok what are you guys missing besides any common sense

    Did you pay with a credit card (even if it was a Sears card) or a debit card with a Visa or Mastercard logo? If so, dispute the charges with the credit card issuer

You guys said you were going to deliver TOday DEC. 14 from 7am-11 I paid $70 for the home delivery specifically for it to be delivered on a weekend which is Todayyyy. EVen after I spoke to a representative confirming my delivery.Your warehouse dept and manager had no idea my shipment was for today..?????!! Hello??   9. Home & Family What a joke..I reported a problem with a smell coming from my dryer and did online chat with Sears repair. They talked me into purchasing a service contract. The repair comes out to my house and tells me there is nothing he can do for it and he can not fix it. I called sears to ask if I would be getting the 500 voucher and was told no because the dryer is still functional. The dryer was functional before they came out. I can not believe that Sears will not reimburse me the 200.00 service contract or stand by there 500 replacement fee. Seems like it would be a no brainier instead of losing a 10 plus year customer.

Home & Family Ordered a dryer + parts on 11/2/13. 1st ‘your order is ready’ came on 11/3/13 that was for the hose and other parts. 2nd ‘your order is ready’ arrived on 11/5/13 for dryer & propane converter. 11/9/13 took out old dryer and drove 35 miles to get dryer, converter, + the rest. OOPS, no dryer, email sent in error. Told to wait for another ‘your order is ready’. It never came. No dryer, but Sears charged credit card (the only charge on card) we got the bill, but no dryer. I called on 11/18/13, sure enough dryer + converter is at store. Again we go to pick it up, they couldn’t find the propane thing, my husband said he wasn’t leaving until he got everything to install dryer, meaning we had to have the propane kit. So this manager went and brought out a propane kit. We had to hire a service guy to install propane kit, wrong kit - it won’t work on our dryer. I called Sears, explained we were given the wrong part, she says she can ship it, we’ll get it in 3-5 days, cost $10.99 for part and $79.99 shipping! Outrageous!!!! Your mistake in the 1st place and you’ll charge me $80 in shipping. Husband got in car and actually found the right part at another SEars store. But he couldn't return the wrong propane kit because his receipt was for another kit. Duh! I’ve bought a lot of appliances from Sears in the past, but never again. I promise. After reading some of these other posts, I think I got off lucky, so far. Your robotic answers are stupid and insulting to customers. I don’t want your ‘happy to assist you’ or ‘we’ll get back to you’ ****.   13. Home & Family Does anyone know what my recourse is when Segwick denies a claim? My hardwood floow was damaged after my refrigerator water line leaked not once but twice! The first time the tech repaired the leak and then 5 months later it sprank a leak again! This time the tech replace the line and he opened an axikit took pictures of the damage and even had us sign a release. He gave us the information to call Segwick who were very nice to start I followed all there advice did what they told me so I was very surprised to get a letter saying the claim was denied. They even went as far as saying I was not telling the truth about the incident as they said they talked to the service tech! After that Segwick has been very rude and told me they really did not care what I did next. I called corporate and they also said Segwick makes the decisions. So needless to say I have not had anything done and my hardwood floor looks terrible and I am left to deal with this alone. Anyone that can give me any help would be greatly appreciated.

  14. Home & Family My refrigerator died the other day and the service technician came out and checked it. He said that these newer units are not built well and don't last long. He had to order a dye dryer which will take a week to get. Then he will weld in on to check for leaks. This will take another week and then if he can't find the leak it could take another week or two to get the parts to replace the whole system or then maybe we can get a replacement unit. Meanwhile I can either rent a refrigerator for which I have no place to put (Sears will reimburse the rental fee) or I can buy a $100.00 unit (Sears will reimburse for this as well). The problem is we have 5 people (adults and children) living here and the small unit will not suffice. I can understand a week for parts but 2 to 4 weeks is a bit much. This unit is not that old and we think it should just be replaced. The customer service people say that the service department would have to make that call. We are very frustrated with this situation. Is there anything that can be done to rectify this situation sooner?

I made the purchase around 10:00pm online at searsoutlet.com and received a confirmation email with Order# 11043265676 (Salescheck 093220148485) at 10:09pm explaining that the store was closed and that my order would be promptly processed the following morning when the store opens. The next morning 11/5/13 I received a second email at 10:25am confirming that my purchase of Item#: 02645853991- 5.2 cu. ft. MegaCapacity Steam FrontLoad Washer Graphite Steel was ready for pick up, with a breakdown of charges and instruction on where to come pick my washing machine up, I gotta a great deal Right, WRONG, so after renting a vehicle for 70 non-refundable dollars to go to columbus to get my washer I received a third Email stating that my oder was canceled and apologies for any inconvenience, So I called sears outlet.com customer service line and spoke to Karen who called the store where I made my purchase and put me on the phone with a manager named Steve, he explained that my washer was sold that morning and there was nothing he could do for me, but offer a $100 gift card on another purchase, and that was not acceptable, so Karen referred me to the customer relations line and I spoke to Roberta. She offered an additional 10% which still wasn't acceptable because I brought the washer for $729.00 + tax and with a $100 gift card and 10% off the cost still would have been more by hundreds of dollars over what I paid for the washer originally, so Roberta says she emailed a district manager and that district manager would call me back within 72 hours, which doesn't seem like a rush to satisfy my issue to me, but anyway it is now Saturday night 11/9/13 which makes this 4 days later, over 96 hours and still haven't received a call or an email or any other form of contact from a Sears official trying to resolve this matter. I'm very upset and very dissappointed that I could buy something from a big company like Sears and have my credit card charged for the purchase, and have my purchase sold to someone else. I see the same washer on sale still on this site and in stores, it seems easy to me for Sears to make good on my purchase, but haven't yet and I'm still waiting for someone from Sears to deliver the customer service that a long time patron of Sears should deserve!
