Home & Family I have a Kenmore Elite refrigerator 795.77243601. The bulbs have been staying on & essentially cooking my food & causing a fire hazard. I did some research online & found that I am a class member of the McLennan settlement. By the documents, I should have a 10 year warranty by calling 1-888-567-3468. I called this number & was told I needed to call Kenmore, then Sears, then A&E factory service, the sears & then A&E again. I've talked to 9 people & been on the phone for over 2 hours. Please help Sears & live up to your good name! I feel like I am being scammed & given the run around. I will take this to Consumer Affairs & the attorney general immediately!

Home & Family I had a washing machine delivery schedule for between 10-12am on 2/13. I received 3 reminders from Sear regarding this delivery. At 9am, your driver, Joel Garcia called my house and my young daughter answered the phone. He asked for her parents and she said they would be right back because they ran into town to do something about the washing machine (this was incorrect, we were going for food because of an upcoming storm). Anyway, he immediately cancelled the order based on this conversation and when we returned at 9:30am he would not return our call regarding the delivery. He answered once and then hung up. Later at 10am I was able to talk to the drivers' manager, a Bill McLellan who explained that he was now out of the area and couldn't come back. Upon my pleading, he said he would try to get him to come back. He never called back.. Is this legendary customer service or what?

Outdoors I have join the ever increasing group of completely unsatisfied customers with Sears. I have been trying to get my lawn tractor repaired because the engine blew up. I even bought an extended warranty to cover this very thing. So far, I have had two sears people say it was owner abuse. They didn't even look at the thing or talk to me about what happened. What kind of customer service is that? Deny everything up front? What I had was a defective engine and I want it replaced -- that's what I bought the warranty for. I have shopped at sears for years and now this. I talked to seven people in one hour trying to get this situation resolved and never did get to talk to the the "tech" who denied the claim. Sears is a joke and I would recommend that NO ONE every buy anything there again. I don't even know who to go to next to appeal the decision. No one will give more than their first name! What sears has lost just in my business alone will cost them a lot more than a new engine will. No wonder they are going under. Stay away from them................

Home & Family I purchased a gas stove from Sears and had it installed yesterday (12-7-13). The installer did not properly install the stove and subsequently there was a propane leak in my house. He returned to "fix" it and succeeded in making more of a mess. When I tried to call Sears back I was given a major runaround, transferred, put on hold and even hung up on. With gas leaking into my home and no help from Sears forthcoming I had no choice but to contact my propane service provider who made an emergency call to my house. In the meantime he urged my family to get out of the house and to call the fire department. As it turns out the installer kinked the copper pipe the first time he installed the stove. The second time he installed a "new" (it looks used) shut off valve behind my stove that leaked. To that end I now have a $300 plus bill from my propane suppler. This bill is the responsibility of Sears as they contracted with the installer, not me. How do I get reimbursed immediately for this? Thank you.
