  7. Home & Family I have been a long time customer of Sears and have never had a problem with any appliance that I have bought. I recently tried to purchase a new Kenmore elite refrigerator. I went to my local store in Appleton, WI and could not get a sales person to help me. So I looked on line and found the refrigerator that I wanted, I set up to have it delivered and received a call that I would get it between 2 and 4 o'clock. I was so excited.. Took off of work for a half a day so that I could be home when the delivery men came. 4 o'clock came and no refrigerator no callfrom anyone saying they would be late. So I call, and I get then run around an what time they will be there which the women can't tell me. but, they will be there sometime before 9 PM. At 7:30 the delivery men finally get there, two men come and complain about how Sear sublet them out to make their delivery's, and did provide them with a truck, and they had to spend all day waiting to rent a truck. ( your customers do not need to know that your delivery men don't like you) anyway they take out their tape measure and measure my opening, they go out side and come back in and tell me that the refrigerator will not fit. I say it will. They then tell me they can bring it in but, if they scratch it they can't take it back, and this it the best part they tell me to go to "Home Depot" and now I really upset.. I call Sears the next day and order a different refrigerator and am told that I can't get it for a week so I ask if I can pick it up and am told that I would have to wait a month. ( this also make no sense to me) I have no refrigerator I can't get any help from you store on getting a new refrigerator so I go to HHGregg order a refrigerator the same size that you delivery men tell me will not fit and HH Gregg delivers it the next day, and it fit perfect. So I have call your store 4 times trying to get my money back, and I get the run around. People come to your store for customer service, start providing it.

  11. Home & Family Hello Sears Cares. Today was an unfortunate day for Sears and a service call to fix my Kenmore washer. I'm a long time Sears customer and trust the brand to be there for me no matter what. I scheduled an appt on 12.15 for 12.17 between 7-10am. I stayed home today to be available for the service technicians. This is not something I typically do but this service call was important. Around 10am I recieved a call that my appt would be delayed. Then around noon and finally at around 3pm I called and Customer Service informed me that they would not be able to make this appt. at all and would have to reschedule for Thursday afternoon. I am blown away. I have taken time out of my schedule to be available for Sears and they are not available to make time for me. I have had 2 calls with customer service and each time I ask to speak with the manager I am put on hold for 10+ minutes and then the phone rings for infinity. Unbelievable. I can't imagine this is the type of thing that is healthy for Sears in a market place filled with other viable candidates. Simply unacceptable Sears.   14. Home & Family Why did Sears not deliver on my confirmed delivery date? They called and texted the night before to confirm delivery of a refridgerator and stove the next morning. However, they never showed up and never sent a message to reschedule. These are items that require you to empty the fridge and freezer, move things around you rkitchen, etc. It is not Prep that you want to do if the appliances are not arriving that day. This was a huge inconvenience. Then when trying to call delivery services all I could do was reach several robot-like people that couldnt seem to do anything but put me on endless holds, which eventually disconnected me. HELP! Or better yet, send me to Best Buy or Home Depot.
