  2. Home & Family I have a warranty for my lawnmower and called to have service on it. I was told the earliest time available was 4/21 - that's making it 21 days in Texas that I can't mow my lawn. The girl said with our warranty we get a $200 check to have someone cut our lawn until it can be repaired. A week later no check so we called and was told the girl lied to us about the money. the man told my husband "I don't care what she told you", now that is RUDE customer service. So my husband took a vacation day to just sit here all day and no one show up. The man called at 4:40pm to say he would not be here by 5pm. Naturally my husband was not happy as the email states they will give a length notice if unable to come not 20 minutes. The man got rude and smart mouth and said he still had 2 more people ahead of us. So we had to cancel going to his daughters reveal party to find out what our grandchild was going to be. It was a big deal for her and she wanted us there to share in the joy but I had to disappoint here and cancel. Needless to say, he never showed cause he knew we were going to be upset. So at 7:30pm I called and the guy lied and said he tried to call but the line was always busy. I told her that was not true as no one had been on the phone since he called almost 3 hours earlier he just didn't want to show up. We should be down for the first customer the next day but no, they want to throw us back in the pool and start over. Next available time is 4/26 and I told her we better be first because our lawn has to be mowed and we can not waste another day sitting around for nothing. She said she would put it down that we request it and I said it better be a hard stress because this is not how the customer should be treated. I asked for a manager and of course you can grow old waiting on any manager answering the phone. last time my husband waited for a manager no one ever answered or came back to the phone. I noticed this one the #1 complaint when researching the lawnmowers is the horrible service and RUDE RUDE RUDE customer reps. She asked if I would like a call back at my convenience and I said been there and no one ever calls. This is a waste of my warranty money. Sounds like you need to get more repair people so that the customer doesn't have to suffer. Hopefully they will know what they are doing when they show up because so far they haven't shown their intelligence yet. Sears needs to do something about this. It would be nice to speak to a manager who knows how to be a manager and run a business and will take charge of the situation.
