Beer-Themed Gifts for Dad
It’s that time of year, the time to make the dads in your life feel special. So what to do and what to buy? Yes, your dad will certainly like some new tools for the shed or some new clothes for the wardrobe but why not take a slightly different route this year?
Most dads already have a nice selection of tools for use around the house and in his favorite lawn and garden. What about thinking ahead and pampering dad just a bit? If your dad is like mine, he often enjoys a cold beer after a household project or some work on the front lawn.
Here are some beer-themed gifts in no particular order that will make dad smile and if you’re lucky (and 21 years of age), maybe he’ll pour you one too.
1. Some call it a beer cooler, I call it a kegerator. Add this Kenmore 4.9 cu. ft. beer cooler, shown below, to dad’s man cave or garage and he’ll call it an instant hit!
2. If you want a model that includes the CO2 tank needed for cooling, you should opt for the KRS-2150 Kegorator Beer Keg Fridge, Stainless Steel. It will hold one full size 1/2 barrel keg, one 1/4 barrel pony size keg or two 5-gallon D system kegs.
3. If dad doesn’t have the space you’d needed, try the smaller but very functional Koolatron 5L Beer Keg. It’s the perfect gift for dads who can’t fit a kegerator into their mix but enjoy a tasty draft beer. Better yet, it holds 5-liter beer kegs available at many local grocery stores.
4. If none of the above do it and you’re still looking for a beer-themed gift for dad, you might consider the board game Brewopoly. It’s based off the family classic Monopoly® but in this case, players buy or trade their favorite beers and increase property values by purchasing brew pubs and microbreweries.
