GE washer extreme noise in “spin cycle”.

Unit is level, fore and aft – side to side. Clothes or towels can be arranged by hand = no difference.

  1. Noise in the spin cycle is usually caused by the bearing. Replacing the bearing can be a difficult do-it-yourself project and I suggest letting a technician check and repair this problem. If there is no noise in the agitation cycle then the transmission is likely okay.
