Question

What good is a 9 year warranty on an electric water heater if it’s not honored when it leaks after 3 years?

Story too long. Needless to say Sears namebrand is mud at our house. New water heater is coming from HOME DEPOT. Reliable, customer service helpful.

What part of your old heater was leaking?

    An exterior valve?

A pipe going into or out of the heater?

Was there applicable service and installation charges associated with a replacement water heater?
