The Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 is a summer track and competition tire made for sports cars. This model was made with racing in mind, but it increased the tire’s performance for everyday use as well. Due to the endurance racing requirements, this tire has an increased tread life and better wet and dry traction. However, safer driving in deeper water is still recommended to avoid hydroplaning. This model has a better steering responsiveness and offers better safety at higher speeds. The Pilot Sport Cup 2 reinforced the shoulder tread on the tire for a longer lasting tread depth.
