Each Stabilized Maple Burl Dyed Wood Penturning Blank measures 3/4" x 3/4" x 5"; Blank will arrive raw and unfinished. Use sharp tools and light cuts when turning the blanks on your lathe. Stabilization process impreganates the pores and fibers with resin to make the wood more uniform, durable, and easier to finish; Stabilization eliminates the uneven penetration caused by differing hardness and grain patterns. After turning to your desired shape, use your prefered finishing technique on the blank to make it shine, give it depth, and to bring out the natural grain; Each blank is unique; Pattern and colors can vary slightly.
