The 2-1/2-Inch opening also allows you to fit Shop-Vac, Sears and a variety of other wet/dry vacuum cleaners. Simple to install, use and uninstall for the utmost in ease, performance and reliability. From the Manufacturer The POWERTEC 4-Inch to 2-1/2-Inch reducer allows you to reduce form one 4-Inch hose down to one 2-1/2-Inch hose. The step-down feature increases air velocity near the machine. This also an adaptor for Shopvac and Sears machines.
