?Considering the body type of cats have a higher passing capacity than dogs, we recommend that dogs should choose a larger size flap than cats.
?Before order, please measure the waistline and the weight of your pets to avoid choosing a wrong size.
LETS DIY A VIP DOOR FOR CATS:
1. Draw outline of frame on the paper board and cut it down. Note: Please prepare these necessary tools first, pencil, ruller, electric saw, drill, screwdriver, double-side tape. If you would like to install on the glass, please prepare professional glass cutting machine.
2. Use a pencil to draw outline around the edge of the cut paper on the door. Note: Generally, average installation height is around 10-15 cm from the floor.
3. Drill 4 corners for thorough holes with an electric drill.
4. Cut out a tunnel hole with an electric saw starting at holes drilled.
5. Its better to wrap around it with a layer of wood skin to protect the flap then put the cat door in the door, its quite necessary to cut your hole a bit larger.
6. If the cat door is too thick for your door, use a scissors or cutting machine to cut down some part of tunnel along the line A or B. The cutting scale is about 2-4CM.
7. Mount the cat door with double-side tape to the door. Tighten 8 screws with a screwdriver on both sides. Note:To satisfy different doors need, we prepare two types of screws, the longer ones for thick door, the shorter ones for thin doors.
8. Place screw caps over the screw holes, press them on. DONE!
