The Art's & Crafts style is reflected in the head and foot boards and sets a modern theme of this classic design. The bed is for a Queen size mattress but can be modified to a King. This is a very easy project to complete and only requires a limited amount of lumber. Includes plans for a nightstand as a bonus!

This bed is an outstanding project, designed by Brian & Chris Murphy, that fits well with most homes today. The instructions and the plan are very detailed making this the most popular woodworking plan for a bed in the USA!! Our plan and instructions ensure a perfect completed project. The wood and material must be purchased at your local lumber supply company; we only supply the woodworking plan and instruction booklet to build the project. We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the 2009 Design Portfolio Award from CWB, Custom Woodworking Business Magazine. In this national contest that recognizes the best work in America over the past 16 years we have received the Honorable Mention award for Residential Furniture, Free Standing.
