The Forney 304 95 FI 120 volt flux cored only wire welder is ready to weld right out of the box. We call this our "plug and play," unit as it's ready to weld with a 1 pound roll of MIG wire already installed. This machine will weld all types of carbon steel and is often used in automotive applications. Two power settings gives this unit accurate welding control and with 120 volt input power you can plug it in virtually anywhere! Automatic thermal overload protection will shut the machine down if it experiences a surge in your amperage. The flux cored welder has electronic wire speed giving you the proper speed for most applications. The MIG welder features a Tweco (r) style welding torch. Tough scratch resistant cabinet includes face shield, combination chipping hammer/brush, welding torch, ground clamp and starter roll of 1 pound flux cored welding wire. The flux cored welder accepts the two most popular sizes of flux cored wire (.030" and .035" wire diameter.) The output range is 20 amps to 95 amps with a max OCV of 27V direct current. The unit also has a very effective duty cycle of 20% @ 60 amps. Weld thickness is 3/16 inch (4.76 mm). Weight is 43 pounds (19.5 Kg) Forney Industries must be notified in writing within thirty (30) days of any equipment failure that begins within the warranty time periods. All implied warranties begin on the delivery date of the equipment to the original retail purchaser. The 5/3/1 or Advanced Replacement warranty is as follows with 5 years - parts and labor or full replacement of transformer. 3 years – parts and labor or full replacement of all components and parts inside the battery charger or welder that cover within the exception of the transformer. 1 year – parts and labor (90 days for industrial use) for all components and parts outside the battery charger or welder cover, included but not limited to cables, clamps.
