What started as a fun project back in 1987, making lures for me and my friends, developed into a fruitful business with a solid reputation far beyond the Hawaiian Islands. Despite that we still make every lure with the same expertise and craftsmanship that has shown them to be proven fish catchers around the world. All Kaku Lures are designed by me and made by hand here in Hawaii.
