Split ring design. Does not restrict flow of existing pipe. (Do NOT hit with hammer! Use rubber mallet if needed) FOR PROPER INSTALLATION you must have 3/8 clearance between flange and flooring. Broken flange must be completely free of trash or debris around and under broken flange. (putty knife works best) CAN BE INSTALLED IN MINUTES once existing flange is cleaned and prepped.
